This software is either a load engine (if configured with a properties.le directory)
or a server monitor agent (if configured with a properties.asa directory).

By default, this software listens on port 1099 only. You can change this by editing
the relevant lines of the system.properties configuration file.

Previous editions of this software required a ".lax" file to work properly. (And as
of September 2014 the Windows version of this software still requires that file.)
You should no longer need the ".lax" file -- the software should work correctly
out-of-the-box, even if you are connecting to it from the other side of a NAT.
